NEWPORT NEWS, VA – On Monday, September 18, Newport News Police Department responded to a homicide at approximately 12:20 p.m. on the 1000 block of 22nd street.
Officers found Michael Anthony Adams, 59, unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Adams was pronounced dead at the scene.
The department is actively investigating the case and asks anyone with information to come forward.
