60-Year-Old Lancaster County Inmate Dead at Hospital Shortly After Release

Deborah F. McClucas, a 60-year-old resident of Willow Street and inmate at Lancaster County Prison, passed away, as announced by officials on Monday. McClucas was discovered unresponsive in her prison cell around 8:24 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16. Following a 911 call by prison staff, city firefighters and EMS swiftly transported her to Lancaster General Health Penn Medicine.

Upon admittance to the hospital, McClucas’s family was promptly notified, and she was subsequently released from prison custody.

McClucas had a criminal history involving drug-related offenses, including an arrest for driving under the influence and providing law enforcement with a false ID.
