62 Year-Old Man Shot and Killed in Southeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place on April 15th. This incident occurred on the 1500 Block of Good Hope Road in Southeast D.C.

According to detectives, “At approximately 12:39 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim, unconscious and not breathing, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and found that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

 62 year-old Gregory Burton, of Northwest, D.C. was named as the victim.
