63-year-old New York City cab driver robbed at knifepoint

NEW YORK, NY – A New York City cab driver was robbed at knifepoint in an area behind 1022 Reverend James A. Polite Avenue in the Bronx yesterday morning. According to police, at around 8:30 am, the driver, a 63-year-old man, was inside his cab when he was approached by an unknown subject. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded the cab driver’s money. The cab driver complied with the demand and the suspect fled the scene.
