68-Year-Old Man Arrested For Attempted Kidnapping of D.C. Girl

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An attempted kidnapping of a juvenile female in D.C. on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the Washington, D.C. MPD making an arrest.

Wednesday afternoon the female victim was at the 1500 Block of Benning Road when she was grabbed by a man exiting a vehicle. The victim was able to escape and the suspect left the scene in a vehicle.

Yesterday, 68-year-old Reginald Battle of D.C. was arrested by Fifth District Detectives and charged with the kidnapping.
