68-year-old man attacked in the Bronx

Bronx, NY – A 68-year-old male became the victim of an assault on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at around 8:55 p.m. The incident took place near the intersection of Valentine Avenue and East 194th Street, where the victim engaged in a dispute with an unidentified individual.

During the altercation, the assailant repeatedly punched the victim in the face and body.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Valentine Avenue. The victim, although sustaining minor injuries, received medical attention from EMS at the location.

The NYPD is now seeking the individual responsible for the assault. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 30 years old, with a light complexion and long hair. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.
