68-Year-Old Man Suffers Facial Lacerations in Yankee Stadium Train Station Attack

NEW YORK, NY – A 68-year-old man was struck in the face with a glass bottle while on the southbound “4” train platform at the 161 Street train station.

The assault took place on Tuesday, September 5, at approximately 4:00 a.m.

The unknown individual shattered a glass bottle on the victim’s face, causing lacerations to his face and eye before fleeing.

The victim was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in serious but stable condition.
