70-year-old healthcare worker charged for sexual contact with female patient

FANWOOD, NJ – On Tuesday, Grant L. Babbitt, 70, of Fanwood, was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact following an incident involving a 30-year-old female patient.

The investigation revealed that Babbitt, a healthcare professional, engaged in inappropriate conduct with the patient during a medical appointment.

Babbitt was arrested and released pending a May 25th First Appearance in Union County Superior Court.

The prosecutor’s office is urging anyone with additional information or similar allegations against Babbitt to come forward.
