71-year-old New York City man attacked outside Queens apartment building

NEW YORK, NY – On Sunday, a 71-year-old man was the victim of an unprovoked attack outside a Queens apartment building.

The incident happened around 4:30 pm near the 38 Tower condominium building on 38th Avenue in Downtown Flushing.

The NYPD reported an unidentified individual punched the elderly male in the neck, causing him to fall to the ground. The individual fled on foot. The victim sustained redness to the neck.   

The man was treated for minor injuries

No arrests have been made.
