Woman victim of forcible touching on Harlem MTA bus

NEW YORK CITY - MAY 7, 2013: MTA Hybrid Electric Bus Route 5 on Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street, New York City, USA.

New York, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a man involved in a forcible touching incident that occurred on board an MTA BX19 bus in Harlem.

According to the police report, on Tuesday, at around 8 am, a 23-year-old female victim was standing on the bus at Lenox Avenue and West 145 Street when an unknown man grabbed her buttocks without her consent.

The individual then fled the bus at West 149 Street and Exterior Street and was last seen entering the Grand Concourse Subway Station.

The woman was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a male in his 50s with a medium complexion and a gray beard, standing approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing 250 to 260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, camouflage jacket, gray jeans, and white sneakers.
