73-year-old man victim of carjacking in Astoria

NEW YORK, NY – A 73-year-old man was the victim of a robbery and carjacking.

The incident occurred on April 24, at approximately 6:00 am in front of 24-49 28th Street in Astoria.

The victim was approached by the two suspects, who forcibly took his car keys and approximately $400 before fleeing in a four-door sedan heading north on 28th Street.

The elderly man refused medical attention.
