83-Year-Old Arrested for Murdering Man At Rehab Center

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – The Albemarle County Police Department has announced the arrest of 83-year-old Raymond Boudewin Dewilde on a second-degree murder charge, under section 18.2-32 of the legal code. This arrest follows an incident on October 29 at Charlottesville Health and Rehab, where Dewilde allegedly assaulted William Sommer, a fellow Albemarle County resident. Sommer later succumbed to his injuries.

Dewilde is currently detained at Albemarle County Regional Jail without bond.
