On Friday afternoon Toms River fire companies 1 & 2 were alerted to a report of an automobile fire on the Garden State Parkway.

The incident happened near mile marker 80.

“A large smoke condition was noticed from the station,” the  Engines 2671, 2631 and rescue engine 2561 responded and extinguished the fire.
