Active Shooter Preparedness Training Scheduled in Beachwood

BEACHWOOD, NJ — The Beachwood Police Department has announced an Active Shooter Preparedness Training to take place at Beachwood Elementary School. The training is scheduled for July 11, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Residents should expect a large police presence and considerable activity around the school during the training hours. The department emphasizes that there is no actual danger or threat to the public; this is a pre-planned, multi-agency event designed to enhance emergency response capabilities and preparedness.
