Akron Store Clerk Murder Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals

AKRON, OH – The U.S. Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) has apprehended Da’Quan Mar’Ta Isaac, 26, in connection with the homicide of Ahmad Alibrahim, 21.

Isaac was arrested at an address in the 700 block of Hazel St. in Akron following efforts by Akron Police detectives.

The incident occurred on December 12th during a verbal dispute over a cigar purchase at a store on South Arlington St. It escalated when Isaac reportedly shot Alibrahim.

A warrant for Isaac’s arrest was issued shortly after, and the NOVFTF successfully located and arrested him without incident.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott commended the Akron Police for their prompt action in identifying the suspect and stressed the community’s zero tolerance for such senseless violence.
