ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – The Albemarle County Police Department is actively investigating an armed robbery that unfolded at Tobacco Planet, 1867 Seminole Trail.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, at around 11:30 pm.
An unidentified Black male, clad in all-black attire, demanded cash after producing a handgun inside the store.
After acquiring an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect exited the store, the direction of his departure remains unknown.
The department asked anyone with relevant information to come forward.
