ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Alexandria Police Department is currently investigating a felony assault that occurred in the 400 block of Mayflower Court. An adult female was stabbed by a man whom she knew, resulting in non-life threatening injuries. She was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. The assailant has fled the scene.
