Alexandria Police Investigate Pedestrian Crash Near Fort Ward Park

Alexandria, VA—Alexandria police are investigating a pedestrian crash that occurred Thursday morning near Fort Ward Park.

Around 8 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 2500 block of N. Van Dorn Street. The driver remained at the scene, and the victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

As of 8:34 a.m., N. Van Dorn Street remained closed, and authorities urged drivers to seek alternate routes.
