Alexandria Police Make Arrest West Glebe Road Shooting

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Alexandria Police Department, in collaboration with the City of Alexandria’s Commonwealth’s Attorney Office, has arrested Rae’Qwan McClinnahan, 26, in connection with the shooting incident that took place at 800 W Glebe Road on July 24 at approximately 11:24 p.m.

McClinnahan, who is not a resident of the city, is charged with 2nd-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a murder. He is currently being held without bond.

The shooting marks the fifth homicide in Alexandria this year.
