Munhall, PA – The General Investigations Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department responded to a request for assistance in Munhall following a shooting incident.
At approximately 3:52 am on Sunday, County 911 received a report of an adult female who had sustained a gunshot wound to her leg. She was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle.
The incident took place in the 900 block of Eighth Avenue in Munhall, and ACPD detectives have now launched an investigation into the matter. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of the perpetrator remain under investigation.
