Allegheny County Police Investigate Shooting Incident in Tarentum

TARENTUM, PA – The General Investigations Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department responded to a shooting incident near the intersection of Sixth and Corbett, on Monday.

Police responded to multiple calls to County 9-1-1 at about 2:44 am. Upon their arrival, police found evidence of a shooting, but noted the victims sustained minor injuries without any direct hits from the gunfire.

The investigation remains open with detectives from the ACPD taking the lead. Individuals with information about the incident are requested to reach out to the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Anonymity of callers will be ensured.
