MCKEESPORT, Pa. — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the fatal shooting of an adult female in McKeesport early Saturday morning.
County 9-1-1 received a report of the shooting at 5:08 a.m. in the 40 block of Crawford Village. First responders arrived on the scene and located the woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Detectives have begun their investigation into the incident. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or any details about possible suspects.
