Allentown man charged with domestic assault after stabbing incident on Whitehall Street

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A 37-year-old Allentown man was arrested Wednesday evening following a domestic assault and stabbing incident in the 1900 block of W. Whitehall Street, police said.

Marcus Raymond White was found with a minor stab wound to his arm when officers arrived around 5:55 p.m. Investigators later determined the injury was sustained when the victim, his girlfriend, acted in self-defense during an assault.

Police reported that the woman had visible injuries at the scene consistent with an assault.

Suspect charged in domestic violence case

White was taken into custody and charged with simple assault (misdemeanor, second degree) and harassment (summary offense), both designated as domestic-related.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
