Allentown Police Investigate School Shooting Hoax

ALLENTOWN, PA – Today, officers from the Allentown Police Department responded to William Allen High School following a report of a shooting with multiple victims. Police and school personnel worked together to clear the school and did not find any evidence of such an event. Further investigation determined that the threat was a hoax. The Allentown Police Department and the administration and staff of the Allentown School District work collaboratively to ensure a safe environment for the school community.

Anyone with any additional information or who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact the Allentown Police Criminal Investigation Division at 610-437-7721 or make an anonymous tip through the Allentown Police Tip411 app. There will be no further comment at this time regarding this investigation.
