HUDSON, N.Y. — A lucky lottery player is more than $32,000 richer after hitting the top prize in Monday night’s TAKE 5 EVENING drawing, according to the New York Lottery.


Winning ticket sold at local gas station

The winning ticket, valued at $32,440.50, was sold at Alltown Fresh Livingston, located at the intersection of US Route 9H and Route 23 in Hudson. The retailer is a frequent stop for commuters and locals in Columbia County.

The TAKE 5 numbers were selected from a pool of one through 39 during the 10:30 p.m. televised drawing. The New York Lottery did not immediately release the identity of the winner.

Players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes from New York Lottery draw games. TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The New York Lottery reported $3.8 billion in contributions to public schools statewide during the most recent fiscal year.
