BROOKLYN, MD – Late night on Monday, around 11:30 p.m., officers were alerted to an assault.
The incident was reported on the 4900 block of Ritchie Highway.
Upon arrival, officers found two injured individuals, a 27-year-old male and a 36-year-old female, who had been involved in an altercation with a 39-year-old female.
The dispute escalated when the female suspect, identified as India Monique Powell, used a knife, injuring both victims.
Powell, who also sustained minor injuries, was apprehended and faces charges for her involvement.
