Amber Alert for 12-Year-Old Boy Missing in D.C. Since Sunday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department has issued a critical missing person alert for 12-year-old Jaleel Ballard, last seen on the 1300 block of Peabody Street, Northwest, D.C., Sunday at 10:00 pm.

Jaleel is identified as a black male with a medium brown complexion, standing 4’10” tall and weighing 90 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

He was wearing blue pants and a white T-shirt emblazoned with the Paul Charter School logo when he was last spotted.

Authorities are calling on the public to come forward with any information that could assist in locating Jaleel. Those with information can contact the police at 202-727-9099 or anonymously text tips to 50411.
