NEWARK, NJ – The Newark police department has issued an amber alert for a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen on Thursday in the area of Treacy Avenue near Avon Avenue
Detectives are now seeking the public’s help in locating Samiyah Turner.
“Samiyah was last seen at Treacy Avenue near Avon Avenue. She was wearing blue jeans or gray pants, a white shirt, and black and white Adidas sneakers,” Newark Public Director Fritz Frage said.
Frage said Turner is described as 5’5” tall and weighs 100 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and a nose ring.
