Amber Alert: Police search for missing 16-year-old boy last seen in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from his East Flatbush home on Friday.

Josiah Sparrow was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. on November 22 at his residence on 134 East 59th Street, according to police. Sparrow is described as a Black male with a dark complexion, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds.

Authorities say he was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a black jacket, a blue sweatshirt with a flower print, and black jeans. He lives within the confines of the NYPD’s 67th Precinct.

Anyone with information about Josiah Sparrow’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the NYPD.
