Amherst Player Wins $10K Scratch-Off

AMHERST, OH — A lucky lottery player in Amherst has won $10,000 playing the Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Amherst Citgo, located at 109 Cleveland Ave. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive approximately $7,200.

The 50th Anniversary scratch-off is a $50 game with a top prize of $600,000 a year for 25 years. As of Monday, two top prizes remain in the game.
