Anne Arundel County Police Department Kicks Off Youth Police Academy

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Youth Police Academy commenced this morning at the Police Academy in Davidsonville.

The Youth Police Academy is designed for middle school-aged students and is taught by law enforcement professionals. The program aims to provide students with a real understanding of the experiences police academy recruits undergo. It also seeks to educate young people about emergency services, law enforcement, and government services.
