Another Earthquake Rattles New Jersey West of New York City

Boonton, NJ – Is the big one coming? Experts highly doubt it, but this weekend, another minor earthquake was felt in the New York City area.

This time, it was the latest, following the 4.8 magnitude quake that rocked the area two weeks ago

According to the USGS, it happened just before 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27. The aftershock was one of many aftershocks since the initial earthquake.

It was reported 7 km WSW of Gladstone, and according to the USGS map, east of Tewksbury. It was felt from Massachusets to South Jersey and Pennsylvania.
