Police hunt trio after anti Semitic graffiti sprayed on Maryland elementary school

GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County detectives are searching for three people after anti-Semitic graffiti was spray-painted across parts of a Maryland elementary school during an overnight vandalism incident, authorities said.

The vandalism happened Saturday, May 2, at about 3 a.m. at Greenwood Elementary School located at 3336 Gold Mine Road in Germantown.

According to Montgomery County Police, anti-Semitic graffiti was discovered spray-painted on a wall and on the side of the school building’s roof.

Investigators released surveillance images of three persons of interest seen leaving the school grounds following the incident.

Police described one person as a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

A second individual was described as a male of unknown race wearing a bandana face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts and shoes.

The third person was described as a white male wearing a gray hat, black T-shirt, black shorts and shoes.

Detectives from the department’s 4th District Investigative Section are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.

Authorities said tips leading to an arrest could qualify for rewards ranging from $250 to $10K.
