HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Superior Court has denied the appeal of Eric Montague King, a 46-year-old former resident of Avis Borough.

King was convicted in December 2021 for sexually assaulting three women in the fall of 2020. He was sentenced in 2022 to a maximum of 7 years and 6 months in prison, with a minimum of 3 years, 9 months.

King sought a new trial, claiming that the three indecent assaults should have been tried separately.

The Superior Court rejected this argument, stating that King created the sequence of events and cannot demand separate trials now.

King is also subject to lifetime registration requirements under Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law.
