Argument in Seaford Ends in Gunfire, 1 Shot

SEAFORD, DE – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Front Street Extension in Seaford early Saturday morning.

The event took place on June 1 at around 12:36 a.m., following reports of shots being fired. Initial findings indicate that an altercation among unidentified individuals near a local residence escalated, resulting in gunfire.

The shots struck a 22-year-old man and subsequently transported to a hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Detectives are actively handling the case and seeking assistance from the public. Witnesses or anyone with information about the shooting are urged to contact Detective D. Hickman at (302) 752-3856.
