Argument Leads to Shooting Near Philadelphia Pike

WILMINGTON, DE – A shooting incident that transpired in the early hours of Wednesday in Wilmington is currently under investigation by the Delaware State Police.

The shooting occurred around 1:45 a.m., with Troopers responding to the area of Philadelphia Pike and East Delaware Avenue following the reports.

Initial investigations revealed that multiple shots were fired following an argument between two unidentified subjects. One subject fled the scene on foot, while the other made an escape in a car. The troopers found several shell casings at the site, however, no injuries have been reported as of now.

There is currently no description of the suspect. Any surveillance footage or images from the incident are not available at the moment.
