Argument Over Internet Access Leads to Box Cutter Slashing

CAMDEN WYOMING, DE – Delaware State Police arrested Justin Watson, a 36-year-old resident of Camden Wyoming, on charges of felony assault on Monday, at around 5:25 p.m.

Troopers were dispatched to a residence on the 200 block of Allabands Mill Road, Camden Wyoming, following a report of a physical altercation.

At the scene, troopers made contact with an injured 19-year-old man. The investigation revealed that Watson attacked the victim with a box cutter during a dispute over internet access.

Watson was apprehended at his residence without incident and was subsequently charged with second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon, both felonies.

He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $14,000 secured bond. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, received treatment for his serious injuries and was subsequently released from a local hospital.
