Trio wanted after robbery near Constitution Avenue in Northeast DC
WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for three suspects after a robbery was reported Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of Constitution Avenue NE, prompting a crime alert across the First District.
The incident occurred around 9 a.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Responding units were told that three male suspects committed a robbery before fleeing the scene. Witness descriptions were limited, but police released a lookout for the individuals.
Suspect 1 is described as a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, and Jordan sneakers. Suspect 2 was reportedly wearing a camouflage ski mask. Suspect 3 is only described as a tall Black male. All three were last seen heading southbound on 19th Street NE.
No injuries were reported, and police have not disclosed what was taken during the robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
