Armed Felon Taken into Custody in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — Officers from the Western District Action Team made an arrest for a handgun violation during an investigation on Thursday night.

On August 8, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers were conducting an investigation in the 1300 block of North Fremont Avenue, which led to the arrest of a 26-year-old male suspect. A loaded handgun was seized during the arrest.

The suspect, who is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to prior felony convictions, was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with the violation.
