Armed Robbers Caught on Camera in D.C.

Washington, DC – In a call for community assistance, the Metropolitan Police Department seeks help in identifying suspects involved in a recent armed robbery in Southeast Washington.

On Thursday, at around 8:22 p.m., two individuals, one armed with a handgun and the other with a rifle, stormed into a business located in the 1400 block of K Street, Southeast. They coerced an employee into opening the cash register. After obtaining property, the suspects fled the scene.

The incident was recorded by surveillance cameras, capturing clear images of the suspects and their activities.

The police urge anyone who can identify the suspects or has any information regarding the incident to refrain from taking action themselves but to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for this violent crime.
