Armed Robbers Shoot NYC Jewelry Store Worker in $15,000 Heist

NEW YORK, NY – A jewelry store at 35-35 Junction Boulevard was the scene of a violent armed robbery on Tuesday, December 12 at around 6:25 PM. Three unidentified males, armed with firearms, entered the store demanding jewelry. A fourth accomplice was reported to be acting as a lookout outside the premises.

During the robbery, one of the assailants discharged his firearm, injuring a 59-year-old male employee. The employee sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh and a graze to the head. The robbers managed to steal approximately $15,000 worth of jewelry before fleeing the scene on scooters in an unknown direction.

The injured employee was promptly transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
