WILMINGTON, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, at La Estrella grocery store on Kirkwood Highway.
At approximately 7:20 p.m., a masked black male suspect confronted a victim in the parking lot, demanding money at gunpoint.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot.
The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively pursuing this case.
Detective Rob Strecker is leading the investigation, and the public is asked to provide any relevant information.
