Armed Robbery at Maryland Jimmy John’s

Severn, MD — A Jimmy John’s employee was robbed at gunpoint while making a business deposit in Severn on Monday afternoon.

On May 13, at approximately 3:55 p.m., officers responded to the 2600 block of Annapolis Road. A 29-year-old female employee was walking to a bank to make a deposit when a black male suspect, dressed in black clothing and wearing a black mask, approached her. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the money.

The victim complied, and the suspect fled on foot.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Detectives from the Regional Crime Unit are investigating and urge anyone with information to contact 410-222-4730 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
