BROOKLYN, NY – Police are searching for four suspects believed to be behind a series of armed robberies targeting convenience stores and smoke shops across three Brooklyn precincts earlier this month.

According to the NYPD, the same group is connected to at least three incidents between January 5 and January 16, 2026, within the confines of the 75th, 77th, and 79th Precincts. In each case, the suspects entered small businesses during early morning hours, displayed or simulated weapons, and stole cash and merchandise before fleeing on foot.

The first robbery occurred around 1:15 a.m. on January 5 at 49 Kingston Avenue in the 79th Precinct. Four individuals entered the store, one displaying a knife while another took several boxes of rolling papers, smoking cones, and roughly $300 from the register. The group fled northbound on Kingston Avenue.

On January 16, around 4 a.m., three suspects struck again at 125 Kingston Avenue in the 77th Precinct, confronting two employees, ages 32 and 37. Two suspects simulated firearms while a third removed about $200 from the register. A fourth suspect acted as a lookout outside. The group escaped eastbound on Bergen Street.

Less than an hour later, around 4:44 a.m., three individuals robbed another business at 296 New Lots Avenue in the 75th Precinct. They again simulated firearms, demanded property, and stole approximately $300 before running off in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
