Armed Robbery Reported at AutoZone in Gambrills

On March 18, 2024, around 9:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the AutoZone at 1080 Crain Highway South in Gambrills following a report of a robbery. The suspect, armed with a handgun equipped with an extended magazine, entered the business and compelled employees to open the safe. After obtaining cash from the safe, the suspect fled in a dark-colored SUV, heading southbound on Route 3.
