Armed Robbery Spree Across Multiple Boroughs Connected, NYPD Says

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A series of robberies have been reported across New York City.

The incidents, which began on Thursday, June 29, involve a group of unidentified individuals targeting pedestrians.

Victims have reported thefts of money, phones, wallets, and other personal items.

In some cases, the assailants displayed weapons, including knives and firearms.

The most recent incident occurred on Saturday, July 1, where a 68-year-old male was assaulted with a firearm and robbed in front of East 170 Street and Wilkens Avenue.
