Armed Robbery Suspect on the Loose in D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC – Police are reaching out to the public for assistance in tracking down an armed robbery suspect who targeted a business on Georgia Avenue Wednesday evening.

Around 7:23 p.m., the suspect entered an establishment in the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from an employee. The employee complied, and the suspect fled the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.

Metro Police Department offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
