Armed suspect fled police, hid gun in nearby cemetery

UTICA, NY – The Utica Police Department has arrested 21-year-old Noor Dulo on multiple firearms charges after he fled police and ditched his gun in nearby cemetery.

At around 1100 AM on Monday, Utica Police units attempted a vehicle stop at Coventry Avenue and Trenton Avenue.

During the stop, the front passenger fled the vehicle. During his flight, the male repeatedly grabbed at his waistband and ran into the nearby cemetery.

Dulo attempted to bury a handgun in the snow while in the cemetery but was quickly apprehended. The weapon was recovered and determined to be a 9mm ghost gun.
