Armed suspect sought after robbery in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint Monday evening in the 7800 block of Bruton Drive, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Officers responded around 5:00 p.m. after an unidentified male suspect approached the victims, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The victims complied, and the suspect fled the scene, police said.

The victims were unable to provide a detailed description of the suspect, identifying him only as a Black male.

A search of the surrounding area was conducted, but the suspect was not located. Detectives from the Northern District are now leading the investigation.

Police continue to investigate as the suspect remains at large.
