Armed suspects steal silver Toyota Camry in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A silver Toyota Camry with Maryland tags was stolen at gunpoint last night in a robbery and vehicle theft in Southeast, sparking an active police investigation.

The incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of W Street SE. According to reports, the vehicle was taken by two male suspects, both armed. One suspect was wearing a red Montclaire jacket and was armed with a handgun, while the second suspect wore a black Canada Goose jacket and was armed with an AR-15. The stolen vehicle bears Maryland tag 8DC6472.

No further details have been made available at this time. Authorities are urging anyone with information to call (202) 727-9099 or send an anonymous tip via the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
